The ADCP frame was deployed in the central channel of the Menai Strait, but due to high boat traffic in the area the marker buoy was offset from the channel to prevent any dragging of the instrument.
The ADCP mooring frame is a custom in-house built frame, made from recycled nonmagnetic parts.
